Uploading IPC-1752A XML Files in the Supplier Portal: Error Guide

When uploading IPC-1752A XML files in the Assent Supplier Portal, you may encounter errors as our system validates your file. 

Use the Assent Materials Declaration Tool to validate your errors by uploading and editing your XML. 

Error Description / Possible Action
Incorrect file type Your file isn't in a format that we support. We accept the following file types: IPC-1752A XML
Your XML file did not validate against schema V2.0. Open and edit your XML in the Assent Materials Declaration Tool and use the validation checker to review any errors.
Your XML file contains 1 or more errors. Open and edit your XML in the Assent Materials Declaration Tool and use the validation checker to review the errors.
Your XML file contains 1 or more warnings. Open and edit your XML in the Assent Materials Declaration Tool and use the validation checker to review the warnings.
No declaration class is specified in the XML Specify a declaration class in the XML and upload it again. Accepted classes include: A, C, and D.
Contains Class A, C Your client requires that you remove these classes from your XML file. Your client only accepts Class D XMLs.
Your declaration contains classes other than Class A, C and D. Edit your XML to contain classes A, C, or D to be supported by our system. Please note, we do not accept class B.
Declaration contains a class that we do not support (currently support A, C, and D)
Your declaration contains classes other than Class A, C and D.
Declaration contains no products Edit your XML and provide the mandatory information required for the contained product. 
Above weight / proprietary limit as defined in the ACM Your XML contains a substance that that has been declared over the acceptable weight / proprietary limit as defined by your client.
Your declaration includes proprietary substance data over the acceptable limit of <#>% of the total product.
Above weight / proprietary limit as defined in the ACM
Class D weight roll-ups to sub-product and product level exceeds 100% +/- <#>% Edit your XML and review substance information to ensure substance weights do not exceed 100% of the total declared product weight.
A Product claims an Exemption, but there is no SubstanceCategoryList Edit your XML and ensure you select an applicable Substance Category list for the claimed exemption.
There is no Substance Category List present in your declaration. Edit your XML and ensure you select an applicable Substance Category list.
A Product claims an Exemption, but there is no over-threshold substance in the product that matches the exemption (i.e. Claim an exemption for Lead, but there is no over-threshold lead in the product). Edit your XML and ensure the selected exemption has a matching substance that has been declared over the acceptable threshold.
There is no substance present over threshold that matches the exemption selected in your declaration. Edit your XML and ensure the selected exemption has a matching declared substance.
A Product claims an Exemption that is not in our database Edit your XML and select a supported exemption from the list that matches your claim.
You have used an exemption that is not found in our database. Edit your XML and select a supported exemption from the list that matches your claim.
A Product contains a SubstanceCategoryList that is not in our database Edit your XML and ensure you select an applicable Substance Category list.
Your declaration does not contain a Homogeneous Material List. Edit your XML and ensure you select an applicable Homogeneous Material list.
Unknown substance category list is referenced in the XML Edit your XML and ensure you select a Substance Category List supported by our system.
You have used a Substance Category List that is not found in our database. Edit your XML and ensure you select a Substance Category List supported by our system.
