My company’s parts are supplied and assembled simultaneously in several countries (for example, in the United States, Asia and Europe, etc.) with components of varying origin. How I do go about providing the Country of Origin Certificates?
In cases where a company suggests that the assembly adds sufficient value to alter their opinion on the Country of Origin and that they cannot determine which Country of Origin that will be used to fulfill the requested order, the solution is to receive Country of Origin certificates for all options, noting that it is a legal declaration requirement for some contracts to be able to declare the percentage of supplier goods/materials by the origin of the product. The concept being alluded to is called substantial transformation.
